Strengthening Local Rehabilitation Services
CFH has established two new prosthetic repair centres to improve access to essential repair and maintenance services for persons with disabilities in their local communities.
- Eastern Prosthetics Centre – Batticaloa District: Established on 25 April 2025
- Olirumvaalvu Prosthetic Centre – Mullaitivu District: Established on 5 May 2025
Both centres have been equipped with essential tools and materials according to their specific requirements, enabling prosthetic users to access timely and reliable repair services closer to home.
This initiative is generously supported by the Australian High Commission in Sri Lanka through the Direct Aid Program (DAP) Grant, helping CFH strengthen community-based rehabilitation services and promote greater mobility and independence.
